RECTOR: REV. BILL DAILEY, C.S.C.
Fr. Bill Dailey is a priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross, an alumnus of Notre Dame (undergraduate and seminary) and of Columbia Law School. He is currently a lecturer in Law at the Notre Dame Law School, as well as the Thomas More Fellow of the Center for Ethics and Culture. Prior to his latest work at Notre Dame, he was a Scholar in Residence at Columbia Law School, an Associate at the Wiley Rein firm in Washington, DC, and a law clerk to a federal judge in Portland, OR. His first service as a Holy Cross priest was at the University of Portland and at Holy Cross Parish in Portland, OR. In that assignment he lived in a residence hall, worked in Campus Ministry, and taught philosophy at the undergraduate level.
When invited to serve in this ministry, Fr. Bill responded, "I am honored and delighted that Notre Dame has asked me to serve in helping to build community at Stanford Hall, the very community that formed me in my own undergraduate days here. Though I love my work at the Law School, I am excited by the challenges and opportunities presented by working with our undergraduate students in this ministry."
