Constructed in 1952 as housing for 156 seniors (with mostly single rooms); Dedicated by Sally Fisher to her husband, Fred Fisher, former member of the Board of Trustees; At the time of construction, Fisher was the 2nd residence hall to have a social lounge; Notable past residents include Joe Montana '79 (pro football), LaPhonso Ellis '92 (pro basketball), Orlando Woolridge '81 (pro basketball), and Regis Philbin '53 (entertainer); Summer 2001 renovations included new social space and a new chapel.
A majority of the rooms are either singles (40% of rooms) or doubles (50% of rooms). About 10% of the rooms are 4-man suites. There are a handful of private bathrooms in Fisher Hall.

Fr. Brad holds both a B.A. in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree, both from the University of Notre Dame. Since being ordained in 2002, he has served as a hall director at the University of Portland, deacon and associate pastor of St. Joseph Parish in South Bend, IN, and associate pastor of Holy Redeemer Parish in Portland, OR. Fr. Brad served for two years as assistant director for faith formation in Campus Ministry at the University of Portland and spent four years as associate pastor of Holy Cross and St. Stanislaus Parish in South Bend, IN. This year, he is finishing up a Master’s degree in Non-Profit Administration at the University of Notre Dame while heading into his second year as rector of Fisher Hall.
